after reading type profiles and doing self-report tests, I've figured my type to be EII with relative certainty, but I wanted third-party opinions to be positive. others (on the16types forum, and various typology groups) have typed me EII, ESI, IEI, and once or twice, SLI and ILI. the majority (~93%) of typings were EII, however. I haven't considered any other type to be especially likely, though I have doubted my typing ability.
the ESI typing - was probably due to my strong rationality and relatively subdued expression of Ne. I've known of self-typed EIIs in typology groups who seemed more whimsical, facetious, or 'unrestrained' with Ne than myself... in comparison, I might seem less intuitive.
IEI, I think, was based upon an inaccurate assessment of me from a typing video I had made, where I seemed much more 'spaced-out' and inattentive than I normally would due to nervousness and shyness.
I'm not sure about the SLI and ILI typings, but if I had to choose a likely logical type for myself (although I strongly doubt I am one), I'd pick SLI.
I think ESI and IEI are the most likely alternate types for me, but I have problems with both... with regards to ESI, I have considered myself to be incompetent with Se, nor am I comfortable with conscious expressions of Se (such as from SEE, SLE), so a type with strengths in that area simply doesn't suit me. similarly, I cannot accept myself as a Se-suggestive type when I am so averse to it.
I also think my level of rationality seems not in the acceptable range for an IEI, and the aesthetic preferences of IEIs (and Beta types in general) I've observed seem too dark and 'edgy' for my taste.
